Join YBC Coordinator Phil Brown for a driving tour in search of migratory waterfowl. We'll visit nearly a dozen of the Monadnock Region’s most productive lakes and ponds, where upwards of twelve species are possible. Large flocks of scoters, mergansers, and Ring-necked Ducks are possible, as well as grebes and loons. The tour will take us down some of the region's prettiest back roads, and the fall foliage should be spectacular. Meet at the Nelson Town Hall at 8:00 a.m.; we'll return in the early afternoon. Trip goes rain or shine. Bring your binoculars, warm clothes, and a little lunch. This trip is co-sponsored by the Harris Center.
