Learn about the migratory sandpipers and plovers as they stop in at New England’s coastal habitats on their southbound migration—which for some consists of a flight across two continents! Travel to Plum Island in Massachusetts for a spectacular show, which should include views of Semipalmated Sandpiper, Dunlin, Red Knot, Whimbrel, Least Sandpiper, Willet, Short-billed Dowitcher, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, maybe a Godwit, and much more! Meet at the first parking lot past the entrance to Parker River National Wildlife Refuge at 8:00.
*Note: There is a fee of $5 per car to enter the refuge.
